IT for Design
Offices
IT infrastructure optimized for BIM and Revit — workstations, 10Gbit networks, NAS servers, VPN and Microsoft 365. Hardware selection, CDE setup and 24/7 support.
IT for the AEC industry
Working with BIM requires the right IT infrastructure. Workstations for modelling, high-speed networks for collaboration on large models, secure cloud environments, and reliable backup systems -- these are the foundations of an efficient design office.
We help architectural firms, engineering practices, and construction companies select, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure optimised for BIM workflows.

Frequently Asked Questions
What computer do I need to work in Revit?
For comfortable Revit work we recommend a workstation with an Intel i7/i9 or AMD Ryzen 7/9 processor (minimum 8 cores), an NVIDIA RTX 3060 or better GPU, at least 32 GB RAM (64 GB for large projects) and an NVMe SSD with at least 1 TB capacity. For projects exceeding 300 MB we recommend 64 GB RAM and a dedicated rendering GPU.
What is a CDE and why do I need one in my office?
A CDE (Common Data Environment) is a centralized platform for managing BIM project data. Per ISO 19650, a CDE provides a single point of access to models, documentation and project correspondence. With a CDE your team works on current file versions, has full change history and controlled access permissions. We configure CDEs on platforms such as BIM 360, ACC, Trimble Connect or SharePoint.
How do you set up a collaborative BIM work environment?
Setting up a collaborative BIM environment includes: a central server (NAS or cloud) for Revit worksharing, a 10 Gbit network for fast model transfers, VPN for remote workers, a CDE for documentation management and backup solutions. The entire setup takes 1–2 weeks and includes team training on the new procedures.
